I was so sorry to hear of your father's passing. Because of your book, I feel as though I knew him. He lived life to the fullest. On behalf of the entire DARE family, I want you to know that our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Rita,
Your Dad loved you...then and now. You made the last part of His Life--The Best Part!

I'm so sorry for the loss of your dad.I hope you can be comforted by the fact that because of you, he was justly honored during his lifetime. He certainly must have inspired you to perform the good works that you do specifically for the Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) program. We are eternally grateful for your many years of support in keeping this country's kids drug and violence free and those in over fifty other countries. God bless you and your dad.

My dad Paul worked in an underground coal mine for 40 years and only missed 2 days of work (pneumonia). He was selected among nearly 15
